Modern, Minimalistic Designs

We exclusively specialize in Velvet, Lambeth, Floral, or Marble Cake Designs that are minimalistic yet aesthetically pleasing. Please refer to our website (see below) or Instagram for design examples and inspiration.

Each of our cakes are uniquely hand-created and decorated, therefore it is virtually impossible to reproduce an exact same design.

The Process

Inquiry Form

This form allows us to gather basic information about your wedding and your overall vision.

We strongly recommend ordering a tasting box before you submit the form and schedule a consultation.

Virtual Consultation

*required for 2+ tiered cakes.

You will virtually meet with Marie Axelle, our Founder & Lead Pastry Chef, to discuss more details about your cake (expectations, pricing, recommended cake size, venue, set up, etc.). Marie will present a full proposal with sketches or inspiration photos to help you bring your vision to life.

Final Steps and Confirmation

After your consultation, you will receive an email summary with everything that was discussed, including presented sketches or inspiration photos, your wedding cake proposal.

Your wedding cake order will be official and confirmed once all necessary invoices or deposits have been paid!

What is the average price of a wedding cake by L'Atelier?

The base-price of your Wedding Cake vary based on the number of guests expected. On average, we charge $7.50 per serving for our classic flavors, and $9.50 per serving for our premium flavors.

Design prices vary between $150-$500.

A Delivery & Setup Fee of 18% (of the total order price) will also be added to the final price. More information on the inquiry form.

But overall, the final price of your cake is ultimately based on the desired cake design & size + applicable taxes & fees.

How much in advance should we book for a wedding cake?

We politely require that wedding cake inquiries/orders are placed at least 2 months before your wedding date. Rush Orders (orders placed with less than a 2 months notice ) may include a $150+ fee depending on the order date.

What are some flavors that L'Atelier has to offer?

From classic flavors such as Lemon-Blueberry to more unique flavor combinations such as Honey Lavender, or Earl Grey cakes, our flavor profile is sure to impress you and your guests on your special day. Click here to view our full Menu

Do you offer sheet cakes?

Yes! But only up to 60 servings (~2 half sheet cakes). We recommend getting a tiered cake + sheet cakes if you have more than 100 guests.

Can you make a faux cake?

We do not make or offer faux cakes at L'Atelier.
