For weddings and/or catering orders, we offer Delivery for up to 50 miles from our location in McLean 22101.

What’s the difference between regular delivery and Delivery with Setup?

Regular Delivery
Your cake will be carefully packaged and delivered to your venue at the agreed-upon time either by a member of our delivery team or a third party. The responsibility for unboxing, placing, and styling the cake rests with the client or their planner/coordinator. This option works well for smaller cakes or simple celebrations where no staging is required.

Delivery with Setup
A member of our team will personally transport your cake, unbox it, assemble tiers (if needed), and style the cake on site. This includes final touches such as floral placement or arranging the cake table. We recommend this service for wedding cakes, multi-tiered designs, or any event where presentation and stability are essential.

Cake Flavors & Tastings

Can I customize flavors or fillings?

Yes, within reason. If you’d like to adjust frostings, fillings, or finishes, please let us know when you inquire so we can confirm whether your request is possible.

Do you offer tastings before I order?

Yes. We offer curated tasting sets as well as in-studio tasting experiences. These allow you to sample a variety of flavors before choosing your cake.

Tasting sets showcase the inside of our cakes — sponge, fillings, and creams. The frosting used in the tasting sets is not the same as the exterior frosting used in our finished cakes, which are completed with a layer of chocolate ganache beneath the design. This allows us to focus the tasting experience on flavor rather than final decoration.

Why do flavors vary depending on size?

Certain techniques and fillings are only structurally possible in larger cakes. For example, lemon curd layers show beautifully in an 8" tier and above, while in smaller sizes, lemon flavor may be infused directly into the sponge or cream.

How should I consume your baked goods for optimal freshness?

Cakes & Cupcakes should always be consumed at room temperature. You may take it out of the fridge at least 1hr before you're ready to enjoy. Leftovers can be stored in the original cake box or in an airtight container then kept in the refrigerator for up to 3-7 days (cakes with edible flowers need to be consumed within 2 days of reception).

Madeleines and Basque Cheesecakes can be stored in their original box or in an airtight container in the fridge or at room temperature for up to 2 days.
